The Enchanted Garden holds a spirit so fair
The sprites are so giving and willing to share
They care for their fighters and spread faerie cheer
The Fantasy Spirit is what they hold dear.
So cheer for the garden, with all of your might!
Tell them all how much you love being a sprite!

Leaf and flower

Branch and bower

Dewdrops glisten

Creatures listen

A gentle breeze

The sigh of trees

A brush of wings

A faerie sings.

by Sprite Sundream

~~~~#2~~~~~~~~
At the end of the day
If you're quiet you may
Catch a glimpse of a Fae
As she flutters away
by Sprite Sundream
~~~~#3~~~~~~~~~

I wonder if you've ever dreamed,

In summer's noonday sleep,

Of what the thyme and heather seemed

To ladybirds that creep

Like little, crimson, shimmering gems

Between the tiny, twisted stems

Of Faerie forests deep;

And what it looks like as they pass

Through jungles of the golden grass.

by Alfred Noyes

~~~~#4~~~~~~~~~~
Bid me discourse, I will enchant thine ear,
Or, like a fairy, trip upon the green,
Or, like a nymph, with long dishevell'd hair,
Dance on the sands, and yet no footing seen:
Love is a spirit all compact of fire,
Not gross to sink, but light, and will aspire.
from Venus and Adonis by William Shakespeare
~~~~#5~~~~~~~~~

Through the house give gathering light,

By the dead and drowsy fire:

Every elf and fairy sprite

Hop as light as bird from brier;

And this ditty, after me,

Sing, and dance it trippingly.

~~~~~~~~#1~~~~~~~~~
First, rehearse your song by rote
To each word a warbling note:
Hand in hand, with fairy grace,
Will we sing, and bless this place.
from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Act 5, Scene 1, by William Shakespeare
~~~~~~~#2~~~~~~~~~~~

How many miles to the Garden?

Three score and ten.

Can I get there by candlelight?

Aye, and back again.

If your feet are nimble and light,

You'll get there by candlelight.

~~~~~~#3~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once I saw a little sprite
Come hop, hop, hop.
And I cried, "Little sprite,
Will you stop, stop, stop?"
I was going to the window
To say, "How do you do?"
When she shook her little wings
And away she flew.
~~~~~~#4~~~~~~~~

Monday's sprite is fair of face,

Tuesday's sprite is full of grace,

Wednesday's sprite is full of woe,

Thursday's sprite has far to go,

Friday's sprite is loving and giving,

Saturday's sprite must work for a living,

But the sprite that's born on the Sabbath day

Is fair and wise and good and gay.

~~~~~~~#5~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Spring I look gay,
Decked in comely array,
In Summer more clothing I wear;
When colder it grows,
I fling off my clothes,
And in Winter quite naked appear.
